At Stride Matters, we're dedicated to supporting seniors in maintaining their independence while minimizing the risk of falls.
As we age, adults typically lose 10-15% of muscle strength every decade after 50. By the age of 65, 1 in 4 adults will experience a fall each year. However, diminished strength, mobility, and increased fall risk don't have to be a part of the aging process.
Our experienced therapists at Stride Matters will conduct a comprehensive assessment of your strength, range of motion, balance, and posture. We’ll identify the key areas to help seniors stay strong, healthy, and independent for years to come.
If you answer yes to any of these questions please reach out to us at rene@stridematters.com or contact your physician to schedule an assessment.
CDC's STEADI Program for Seniors
As part of our approach, we utilize the CDC's STEADI (Stopping Elderly Accidents, Deaths, and Injuries) program. This evidence-based initiative provides personalized fall prevention strategies, including balance and strength exercises, medication management, and home safety tips. Together, we can help you stay active, healthy, and safe.
